Santa Claus

Coca-Cola‘s advertising has had a significant impact on American culture, and is frequently credited with the invention of the modern image of Santa Claus as an old man in red-and-white garments; however, while the company did in fact start promoting this image in the 1930’s in its winter advertising campaigns, it was already common before that.

Bears

Coca Cola Polar Bears are the perfect four-legged advertisement for The Coca Cola Company. Bears arctic homeland reminds us that Coke is always best served "Ice Cold", while his playful antics symbolize fun and good times with family and friends. Likenesses of the famous polar bears can be found on every kind of collectible product to the delight of all around the world. In 1995, the first Limited Edition Coke Polar Bear, wearing a green sweater that says "Coca Cola" on the front was created.

 

Olympic Games

Coca-Cola was the first-ever sponsor of the Olympic Games, at the 1928 games in Amsterdam and has been an Olympic sponsor ever since.
For more than three quarters of a century, the Coca-Cola Company has been dedicated to bringing fans and athletes unique and memorable Olympic Games experiences through its partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and organizers of the Games of each Olympiad.
As the Olympic Movement's longest continuous corporate partner, Coca-Cola has helped and shared in the evolution of the Olympic Games into the world’s most watched and revered international event. The 1928 Olympic Games, which included 46 nations, marked the beginning of the Coca-Cola Company's Olympic involvement.
In 1979, the Company helped the USOC create the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, to honour America's greatest
Olympic athletes and preserve American Olympic Games artefacts.

The Coca-Cola Olympic Women's Sports Program was established in 1982, as The
Coca-Cola Company increased its overall involvement in women’s sports programs, in tandem with the dramatic rise in female participation in Olympic sports and athletics in general.

Athens 2004
Coca-Cola was selecting many of the more-than 11,000 torchbearers and approximately 2,000 escort runners who shepherded the Olympic Flame on its historic, round-the-world journey. The theme for the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Torch Relay was, “Pass the Flame, Unite the World.”
