There is tree main sort of bows. First there is the "longbow" which is in wood. It is the simplest bow but it is quite difficult to hunt with it because it is quite big and not very precise.
Then you have another sort of bow, the "recurve". It is entirely in wood too but the form are more evolved. Many hunters use it for hunting birds or little animals.
Finally, there is the "compound" which is not very beautiful but is without doubt the more efficient. A lot of hunters use it to killed big animals because it is very precise, you can put many little things on it which help you to make a good shoot.
